| Founded
in 1986 by a group of engineers., ESSOM main
objectives are to design and manufacture engineering
and science laboratory equipment for education
mainly in mechanical and civil engineering.
In addition, ESSOM also markets scientific
and other engineering equipment for education
as well as equipment for coating industry.
Main office is located on Taksin road in
Bangkok metropolis while its factory is
in Nakompathom 30 km. to the west. The factory
comprises machine shop, fabrication areas,
electrical shop, painting shop, design office,
test area, finished product warehouse, show
room, training room, and factory administration
ESSOM has been certified ISO 9001 quality
management system since January 1999. This
means all equipment have been designed by
our experienced and well qualified engineers,
and prototype must pass design test standards
before production. Part and materials are
sourced only from approved supplier/material
lists. In process inspection is carried
out during manufacturing with final inspection
after finish for each equipment.

| New
products are developed based on market requirements
as well as trend in educational innovation
and technological development.Most equipments
are available for inspection and / or test
run in the factory show room. Small items
are normally kept in stock ready for delivery. |

| Software |

| Softwares
are available for most equipment. Learning
softwares are multimedia on CD-ROM with hypertext
user interface for IBM compatible PC to provide
information on equipment description, relevant
theory, experiment procedures, sample data
and calculations; and to give required calculations
and hard copy print out. For equipment with
transducers, analog signals are converted
to digital and data are displayed or analyzed
on computer. |

| Each
product is supplied with an instruction manual.
The manual generally consists of equipment
description, relevant theory, test procedures,
typical test data and results including sample
calculations. |

| The
company maintains over 15 well trained engineers
and scientists and a number of experienced
technicians readily available to provide after
sales services where required. Training are
periodically conducted to provide more theoretical
and practical background for clients. In addition,
the company also builds special equipment
for research and other purposes to meet to
clients special requirements. |
